Bashkortostan continues to develop economic relations with Austria

On March 23, the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan on Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activity Margarita Bolycheva met with the Trade Counselor of the Austrian Embassy in Moscow Rudolf Lukavski. During the negotiations, the parties agreed on close cooperation between the country and the region, as well as joint business missions for business communities.

"You know that the Representative Office of Bashkortostan conducts its work in Vienna. We intend to strengthen our already close relationship with Austrian partners, therefore I propose to conduct an offline business mission and invite representatives of Austrian business to our republic to get acquainted with its investment potential and establish business contacts with our entrepreneurs", said the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan on Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activity Margarita Bolycheva.

Rudolf Lukavski supported this initiative, noting that he receives requests from Austrian entrepreneurs to search for partners in Russia, and the investment attractiveness of Bashkortostan may interest them.

In addition, the parties agreed on the participation of the Republic of Bashkortostan in the meeting of the Mixed Russian-Austrian Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation.
