Bashkortostan is preparing for the 47th Apimondia Congress

The Apimondia Executive Committee met in a videoconference format on 16 May 2020. The Organizing Committee reported on the preparation and holding of the 47th Apimondia Congress and the exhibition "Apiexpo" in 2021 in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The participants discussed the preparation of infrastructure facilities, the organization of the Apiexpo-2021 exhibition, the opening and closing ceremonies, the organization of technical tours, and so on.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ilshat Tazhitdinov made a proposal to the Apimondia leadership to consider the possibility of establishing a preferential participation cost for beekeepers from Russia. The Apimondia leadership has supported this proposal and in the near future Russia will send an official request to Apimondia.

The next meeting of the Executive Committee is scheduled for June 6. The scientific program of the upcoming Congress is planned to discuss.
