Russia and Turkey celebrate 100 years of diplomatic relations in 2020

June 3, 2020 was the one hundredth anniversary of the modern diplomatic relations establishment between Russia and Turkey.

Turkey is a long-standing and reliable partner of Bashkortostan. Trade, economic and humanitarian ties between the parties were established in 1996 with the signing of the Agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Government of the Republic of Turkey. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in the Russian Federation greatly contribute to the development and strengthening of cooperation between Bashkortostan and Turkey.

The joint work has continued. In the near future, it is planned to open a representative office in Turkey, which will contribute to the development of bilateral relations. On this moment more than 40 enterprises with Turkish capital are successfully realizing in Bashkortostan. They are engaged in the fields of petrochemistry, mechanical engineering, agriculture.
