Bashkiria Government and Russian Export Center have concluded cooperation agreements

On July 17, the Government of Bashkiria and the Russian Export Center JSC concluded two agreements at the Second International Export Forum in Ufa. The documents were signed by the Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and REC Director General Andrei Slepnev.

“The first agreement concerns the development of Russian non-oil exports through electronic commerce channels. The second one deals with the joint implementation of the accelerated “Export Boost” program. It was developed by the Export School of the Russian Export Center JSC for export-oriented enterprises in the territory of our republic”, Ilgizar Sanyarov, press secretary of the State Committee RB for Foreign Economic Relations, told Bashinform News Agency.

The second international forum “Time to Export” was held within the framework of the national project “International Cooperation and Export”. It gathered in Ufa more than 300 participants from different countries.

As previously reported by the Bashinform News Agency, Bashkortostan is actively involved in the implementation of the national project for the development of international cooperation and exports.

In Bashkortostan, in the first five months of 2019, non-resource non-energy exports grew by 15 percent. It was based on products of the engineering and chemical industries.

Currently, 800 export-oriented companies operate in the republic, of which 650 are small and medium-sized enterprises. Only 20 large commodity producers form 90 percent of exports.
